Activity 12 - Pop Culture

Review the lecture notes and course materials on either the topic of Pop Culture or Intercultural Competence and then write up some notes (points) for answering the corresponding question below.

• What role does popular culture, for example music, play in cultural communication? Give examples from the samples of class projects of on music and culture or from other sources of pop culture that you partake in. Try to identify elements of it and how it allows or inhibit communication of culture.
  
• What have you personally learned about intercultural communication in this course? Give examples of specific activities, situations, information, or readings that you have been exposed to and how they have had an impact on your learning. Try to indicate how you have become a more inter-culturally competent person, and perhaps identify the most important lesson from this course that have allowed you to do so.
